Trail details
Description The start board is located outside Ernen near the bus stop (Wasen/Zauberwald).
From there we walk up to Binnegga. After a short break on the Binnegga we walk down to the water pipe Trusera. Follow this until you reach the old way of Rappental. There you descend to Kalberboden and continue to the road of Alpe-Frid. From there you can already see your destination Ernen.

How to get there by public transport From Geneva / Lausanne / Basel / Zurich / Bern with the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) to Brig and with the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Fiesch. From Fiesch with the post bus to Ernen.

From Eastern and Central Switzerland with the SBB to Andermatt and with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway to Fiesch. From Fiesch with the post bus to Ernen.
How to get there by car Via the motorway from Lausanne - Sion - Sierre - Brig to Ernen.

Through the Lötschberg tunnel by car transport: Bern - Kandersteg - Goppenstein- Gampel - Brig - Ernen.

Through the Furka Tunnel by car transport: Eastern and Central Switzerland - Göschenen - Andermatt - Realp - Oberwald - Fiesch - Ernen

Car transport Furka: Realp - Oberwald, in winter about every 30 minutes
Lötschberg car transport: Kandersteg - Goppenstein, every 30 minutes
