| Description | Die Starttafel befindet sich 100 m vom Restaurant Central entfernt, in Richtung Gotthardpass. Von dort gelangt man entlang der Gotthard Passstrasse zum Gamssteg (Brücke). Nach überqueren der Brücke führt der Trail über den Gamsboden leicht ansteigend via Bluemenhüttenboden bis zum Guspis-Bach. Kurz vor dem Lüftungsschacht des Gotthardtunnels ist der Wendepunkt erreicht. Der Rückweg folgt dem Flusslauf der Reuss bis zum Gamssteg und wieder auf der Strasse zurück nach Hospental. |
| Highlight | Das Dorf Hospental am Gotthardpass brsticht mit seinem imposanten Turm. Weitere Highlights sind die Kirche Sankt Karli und natürlich die Gotthardpassstrecke mit dem Lüftungsschacht am Wendepunkt im Mätteli. |
| How to get there by public transport | Mit der Matterhorn Gotthardbahn gelangen Sie von Andermatt oder dem Goms direkt nach Hospental. Vom Bahnhof Hospental laufen Sie durch das schöne Zentrum des Dorfes bergauf bis zum Kreisel. Die Starttafel befindet sich beim Restaurant Central. |
| How to get there by car | Von Andermatt aus fahren Sie Richtung Gotthardpass. Nach 3 km erreichen Sie den Kreisverkehr in Hospental. Direkt am Kreisel befinden sich Parkplätze am Restaurant Central. |
